In addition to the usual strongholds, mineshafts and villages scattered across the world, there are other ruins, buildings and dungeons to discover - both under and over ground.
Wildlands brings a level of detail to randomly generated worlds that is normally associated with hand crafted maps, with small details everywhere you look and large scale features such as volcanoes, glaciers, craters, and more.
The world is split into climate zones, and each climate zone transitions nicely to the next, giving a more believable feel to the world. Biomes in Wildlands are used to create the diversity within each climate zone and are combined together in a way that makes a believable landscape, where often the individual biomes themselves are not easily identified.
Simply put, you'll find it hard to believe this is generated terrain.

The download includes two types of world generation. One of them is the default Skylands configuration while the other is a more performance friendly version with less verticality than the regular Skylands.
Far From Home is my attempt at creating the greatest terrain generator ever. My teammates and I have been working hard to produce a terrain that feels seamless in its biome transitions, includes a wide variery of terrain styles, is on par with the greatest biome designs, feels small scale(vanilla-like), and creates some of the most amazing far terrain views. The current state of Far From Home is incredible. The future of Far From Home will blow you away.
